Toshiba's new premium line of LCD TVs the XV545 series were first shown at CEDIA show 2008. They are due for release in September and feature the new SRT (super resolution technologies) feature which upconverts 480i, 480p, and 720p signals to a 1080i or 1080p signal. They also feature an Auto View - a new technology for Toshiba models which automatically chooses the optimal picture setting depending upon ambient room light conditions. Other top features include 120Hz speed processing, We'll be interested to test the SRT feature as we have not found this upconversion to be beneficial in most upconverting DVD players.
