The Sharp AQUOS™ LCD TV models have a compact, space-saving, energy-efficient design and Sharp's Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD technology. The ASV Low-Reflection Black TFT LCD panel delivers wide viewing angles and high contrast, and works in combination with a high-quality Picture Processing Engine to yield crisp images and rich, saturated colors.
Besides setting the standards for both performance and style in Liquid Crystal Televisions, the AQUOS line offers more distinct advantages: They’re incredibly thin. They’re exceptionally light. Our proprietary ASV (Advanced Super View) high-performance LCD panel continues to be the most impressive in the industry, thanks in part to our exclusive Black TFT low-reflection coating which significantly reduces glare even under harsh lighting conditions.
AQUOS LCDs come equipped with a wide range of input/output jacks, including a D2 video input jack that supports progressive-scan (525p) video signal sources such as DVDs and digital BS (broadcast satellite) broadcasts, and a monitor output jack for connecting with audio equipment, making these units a key part of any A/V system.
The sleek, elegant AQUOS design is by world-class industrial designer Toshiyuki Kita, and takes full advantage of the slim profile and small footprint of the LCD TV. A built-in stand and Carrying Handle adds to convenience.
